Ukiah Adult School offers FREE G.E.D. classes to better
prepare for taking the
G.E.D. test. Practice tests are offered
for each of the five parts of the test (writing, social studies,
science, reading, and math). Individual areas of need are
targeted and remediated.

Instruction and testing is available in either English or
Spanish.

Class meets on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and
Thursday.
- In the morning: 8:30 to 11:30
- In the Afternoon: 1:00 to 4:00
- In the evening: 5:00 to 8:00

Ukiah Adult School is an official G.E.D. testing center and
gives the test once a month (except in July!)
- $30 per test, there are 5 tests so the total cost is $150
- You can sign up for one, two, three, four or all five tests at
one time. It's up to you.
- Sign up is on a first come first serve basis.

Sign up early! No later than 2pm on the Tuesday prior
to testing.
- You must bring your valid picture ID to all tests.
- No food, drinks, or electronic communication devices in
testing room.
- You must have a valid picture ID (or a valid US passport)
to sign up for the tests.
- Payment is due upon signing up for the test.
- Test start promptly at posted time.
- Test taker must cancel 48 hours prior to the test
- Accommodations are available upon request.

The coming testing dates are:
February 9 and 10, 2012
March 15 and 16, 2012
April 12 and 13, 2012

-Thursday Morning
(check in at office 15 minutes prior to the test)
- Mathematics:  Starts at 8:00 am
- Language and Arts (Writing): Starts at 10:00

-Friday Afternoon
(Check in at office 15 minutes prior to the test)
- Science: Starts at 1:00 pm
- Social Studies: Starts at 2:35 pm
- Language and Arts (Reading): Starts at 3:55 pm

To check your test score you will need to set up a Personal
Identification Number (PIN). When you sign up for the first
time, you will need to make up a six letter and/or number PIN
and write it in the appropriate place on your demographic
registration form.  Then you will need to remember that PIN
because
Ukiah Adult School will not keep that information.
It will go to the GED test processing organization.

A student must earn a total of 210 credits to graduate

U.S. History: 10

Economics: 5
Fine Arts: 10
Physical Education: 20
Electives: 70

Pass the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE)
CAHSEE Test Dates. (It takes 2 months to get the test
results back) Testing starts at 12:30pm be at Ukiah
Adult School by 12:15pm.
